He was one of the awardees of the University Grant Fellowship (2006-2011) and Cognitive Science Initiative Fellowship (2012-2014) sponsored by the University Grant Commission and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Arindam Bit received his PhD in Biofluidic Engineering at Jadavpur University, India.
