He became a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France in 2010 and his interests focus on nanophysics. Professor Antonio Tejeda is a Research Professor at CNRS, the main French Research Center, where he has worked since 2004. He currently works at the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides and is associated scientist to SOLEIL synchrotron.
