He received his undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University (China) in 2004, master's degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006, and PhD from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, Cambridge University in 2009. He was a Junior Research Fellow at Queens' College, Cambridge University between 2009 and 2011, before moving to a Lectureship at Durham University, where he became a senior lecturer in 2014 and reader (associate professor) in 2016. His main research interest lies in theoretical and numerical cosmology, including dark energy and dark matter, nonstandard gravity theories, large-scale structures of the universe, gravitational lensing, cosmological simulations, and numerical relativity.Title from PDF title page (viewed on November 8, 2018).
